Did you put a pinion snubber in? If not I would highly suggest it.

Finished up my fuel system plumbing. I have to mount the bulkhead fitting to the sender cover and install the fuel pump and that can get checked off the list.

feed line plumbed up You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Looking pretty good.  I have to mention that the fuel feed line scares me a little.  In the picture at least it looks like if you hit something  that engine could come back and snap that fuel fitting on the rail right off and start dumping fuel everywhere!

i agree, it is close but that was as much massaging as i could do with the engine in the car. should be good now!

I have seen metal brackets that go behind fuel rails in this condition. Maybe something to consider?

It would have to be something custom. I was looking as some ls3 crate engines that had it yesterday. I'll snap a pic at work to give you an idea what I am talking about.

Will texted me today asking about the car so i figured i should update this thread. I have been working on the car almost every weekend and stockpiling parts which is half the fun. The car is getting pretty close, and it needs some fab work and some more hard work on my part before it is running. copying and pasting most of this from another thread!!!

Getting good at pulling this engine by myself now. new front main seal in

once installed, i set the lockout and it now shifts smoothly and crisp through each gear. Awesome piece

Also scored this brand new Tial Q off the 2jz parts for sale FB page. Quick mockup with some scrap IC piping.

Then spent alot of cash on fittings and hose for my oil cooler and catch can setup.

I am using the stock oil cooler and the original mounting was scary close to the ground at this height. I ended up doing some massaging of the stock brackets and then flipped it on the backside which tucked it up nicely. Just ordered a 120* fitting for the top port

The existing PCV and breather ports on both valve covers have been removed and i will tap them 1/2NPT to run these canton fittings from each cover to the catch can

Waiting on hose to come in and then will start plumbing it all up. still need to mount the catchcan and get started on the interior wiring and power distribution, Also need to order a milspec connector to join the engine harness to the chassis. More to come!
