New to Michigan
« on: September 14, 2010, 10:25:58 PM »
I just moved here a couple months ago from upstate NY.

Right now I am living in Troy, but will likely be moving to the Clarkston area shortly.

I have an 86 base that was swapped to a TII engine, that blew up so I swapped in another TII engine so I swapped in an LS1 with a 100 shot of nitrous.

My second RX7 is an 88 TII with a single turbo 20B swap.

Currently I am stripping the paint on the 88 and will be laying down some primer next week.

welcome to the forum.  Clarkston and troy are both nice areas.  Look forward to seeing you at a meet soon.

An RX-7 is like having a slut as a gf! She will love you, but she will also screw around with the guy at the parts store, most of the local cops, your insurance agent, your apex seals, your bank account and your credit card!!!

Once you move, you'll damn near be local to me. :)  Do you do any racing like autocross?  We've got a great local group that puts on some very laid back and friendly events all over this quarter of the state (furrin.org).

Welcome aboard :)

I've been living in ortonville for almost 2 months now and really enjoying it.

I love racing, every kind.  I raced frogs one time. Send me a pm with your number, I have been looking to find some winter racing.
