I really need to take more pics. I have finished painting the booster and installed the new master on Jenny. I then began the initial brake bleed of the system. As I got three of the calipers bled with new Dot 5 brake fluid, the fourth caliper decided to give me some problems. It is the front drivers side. I loosened the bleeder screw and stared bleeding it. However when I tightened the screw, It wouldn't tighten down. Turns out the threading decided to stay in the bleeder screw threads.
The good thing is I had another caliper, with better brake pads on it and so I did a quick replacement of the caliper without having to re-bleed the system. So I realized I need new pads all around and new front rotors. I will be ordering those from rock auto soon.
I decided to drive her the next morning to work, I figured I had enough brakes for a day of driving. On my way to work, the radio would start cutting out after I got on the highway. After the 5th time, it didn't come back on, I decided to look at my voltage gauge and I only was running on 8.3 volts. I managed to get the car off at the next exit which was Crooks rd and I75 and found a parking spot to park it at. As soon as I got to a stop, the car died.
Later that evening Murz came over to help me, we pulled the alternator off of the vert and went to where I left Jenny at. We installed it into Jenny and jumped the battery. After she fired up, the voltage was only reading at its highest was 12.6. With the lights on, it was around 12.2 volts. I managed to make it home. The voltage fluctuated from 12.0 to 12.3 volts and was mostly at 12.2 volts. I looked up the issue and I need to check the wires for corrosion. I know there is a bare exposed spot near the connector for the back of the alternator. I will fix that and see if I can get better results from the alternator.
